What does OurIT do?
OurIT is a Canadian technology advisory and managed services firm. We help organizations adopt, secure and optimize modern technologies through managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud and collaboration, business applications, and AI and automation services.
Which industries do you serve?
We focus on construction, law firms, CPA and accounting firms, financial services, logistics and transportation, and the trades, where uptime, confidentiality and compliance are critical.
Where does OurIT work?
No. OurIT is headquartered in British Columbia, with a primary focus on Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, the Fraser Valley and Kelowna and the Okanagan. We also support clients across Canada, particularly in Alberta, Ontario and Quebec, combining remote management with on-site work where needed. Many of our clients open offices in other provinces, acquire businesses or are acquired, and we help them integrate and standardize technology across every location.
How do engagements usually begin?
Most relationships start with a Strategy Assessment: a structured review of your technology, cybersecurity and AI readiness that results in a prioritized roadmap.
Services & Platforms
Are you a Microsoft-only provider?
No. Microsoft 365 is our primary platform and where most clients start. We also support Google Workspace, Google Gemini, AWS and NetSuite when they fit your business, including organizations that run a mix.
Can you support our existing systems and line-of-business applications?
Yes. We manage and integrate the systems you already rely on, including industry-specific applications, and help you plan improvements over time.
Do you provide cybersecurity as a standalone service?
Yes. Cybersecurity can be delivered on its own or as part of a fully managed environment, including assessments, protection, detection and response, and backup and recovery.
AI & Automation
Which AI platforms do you work with?
Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT and OpenAI, Claude, Google Gemini, Perplexity and emerging AI technologies. Our guidance is independent of any single vendor.
How do you keep AI adoption secure?
We start with governance: data and permission reviews, acceptable-use policies, platform configuration and training, so AI tools improve productivity without exposing sensitive information.
Can you automate our business processes?
Yes. We identify repetitive, high-volume work and automate it with workflow and AI tools, with appropriate security and oversight built in.
